About
This website is run by Fraser Orr, who graduated from University earlier this year with a degree in media production, a deep dissatisfaction with the way film-making (and film-viewing) is taught, and a need to write about himself in the third person.
This site will attempt to break readers away from their assumed knowledge of film and art. In this age, what is taught in schools and rewarded in public as great art very rarely has any real value. The function of this site is to increase awareness of the shallowness of these works, and to bring actual great film works to wider attention.
Essential to expanding knowledge is argument and debate. So if you have an opinion contrary to what you read here, feel free to leave a comment. Be as polite or angry as you like.
By the way, if you have well-informed opinions on film and would like to contribute, send an email over to fraser.orr85@gmail.com

Great work!! I look forward to reading more about your opinions on this site. You have an interesting way at looking at cinema and things i don’t really think about. Ciao

I like what you doing here, Fraser. What’s your plan to further develop NFS? How can I support?
Keep on!

Wondering if you are interested in viewing an independent film Wednesday Again, starring Richmond Arquette, Riki Lindhome, and Jack Kehler. The film is set in Los Angeles and is character driven. After viewing your utube Cassavettes stuff, I thought you might want to take a look. The film is repped by Harris Tulchin.
